What We Believe

Word of God

Our existence is completely dependent on the Word of God. The universe was created by His Word (Genesis 1), and His Word is: truth, alive, and eternal.

Matthew 4:4
But He [Jesus] answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

John 17:17
Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

Hebrews 4:12
For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 119:89
Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

Love

The first commandment is to love God with all of our being, and the second is to love our neighbor as ourselves. Love is at the core of our ministry (1 Corinthians 13).

Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus said unto him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Mark 12:29-31
Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news of the kingdom of God and salvation through Jesus Christ – His life, death, burial, and resurrection. It is to be taught and preached throughout the world to all nations. Matthew 24:14

[Mathew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:46-49; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 5:42; Acts 8:12]

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
